This page contains translations of several articles and sections from books by academics and Shuyukh on issues pertaining to arguments utilized by modernists.
Particular attention has been given to arguments revolving around "maqasid," "fatwas changing according to custom, time, and place", and the appeal to "necessity" to justify certain rulings. These are juristic maxims which have often been abused by many to justify inacceptable stances in the name of fiqh.
Check out the entire page and see the articles which interest you. If you are able to read the original Arabic, then it is best that you do so, as the translations are far from perfect (but good enough).
Many do not like to read; they just like settling for short facebook posts and memes. Others, however, want something more. Unfortunately, some still cannot read Arabic, and as a matter of principle, one should not dive deep into such issues if that is the case. However, given the ubiquitous spread of these modernist doubts, such a resource is necessary.

Could you put footnotes in the Academia papers or anywhere else, of the credentials of the authors, as non-Arab speakers would not be able to find out their area of expertise, credentials and whether they are even scholars?
And also, could references be added of the sources of the papers / articles?
