Islamic Supplications As Circumstantial Prophetic Proofs
I speak for myself, as this is a matter which could be argued to be subjective and for which there is no proof, however, I cannot help but feel that the Islamically-prescribed and recommended supplications we find in the Qur’an and Sunnah are themselves, collectively, a sign of Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) prophethood.
When looked at holistically, my mind cannot fathom how a supposed ‘impostor’ or ‘follower of Satan’ can be so God-conscious, yet disingenuously concoct these supplications.
These supplications are so deep and thoughtful in their glorification of God, so introspective and contemplative about what they request, and so wary, heedful, exhaustive, and far-reaching in their application in all aspects of our lives.
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was at bare minimum, a man of God. That is something any sincere and well-studied non-Muslim must admit, and that is always a good first step to take while embarking on the journey to coming to accept the Truth.
اللهم صل وسلم على حبيبنا محمد
