Principled vs. Unprincipled Scholars

𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬

Though they may not always be so popular, they, at the very least, truly earn the respect and love of their students, even if they are small in number. Their students follow them because they see how committed and reliable they are. Their students genuinely love them and care about them. These students will pray for these scholars when they are sick and after they die. They will never forget their beloved scholars and mention them in a positive light. After they die, these scholars' legacy will be one of honor and integrity.

𝐔𝐧𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬

Though many of them may be popular, they never truly earned the respect and love of their fanboys, even if they are large in number. Their fanboys will only follow them as long as they cater to their whims and desires. These fanboys do not genuinely love and care about these unprincipled scholars; instead, they only like the justifications they furnish them with to ease their guilty conscience for selling out and watering down the deen. They will not pray for them when they are sick and after they die. They will not even remember them; they will flock to the next unprincipled scholars who carry the torch. Such scholars will die with no legacy; instead, they will die alone and be forgotten in the dustbins of history.
