The Example of Prophet Ibrahim (عليه السلام)

Some notable features of Prophet Ibrahim (‘alayhi assalam) stand out to me, such as:

1) His uncompromising loyalty to his religion, even if it meant going against everyone else, including his family [6:74; 9:114; 60:4]

2) His courage and assertiveness when standing up to those in power and skillfully arguing on behalf of the truth of the deen [2:258]

3) His unconditional submission to the moral dictates of Allah, even if it meant sacrificing his own child [37:102]

4) His resolute reliance on Allah even if it meant parting from the family he loves [https://sunnah.com/bukhari/60/43]

5) His deep and intelligent contemplation about religious truth [6:76-78]

I pray that Allah  (سبحانه وتعالى) guides us to embody and exhibit these features of Prophet Ibrahim (‘alayhi assalam) with perfection and in ways which are pleasing to Him, Ameen.
