Idk what daees you’ve seen. Many of them are careful with their words and kind with some even continuing that kindness after insults. In fact, the two main issue with most daees today is their inability to put people in their place or to terminate conversations when people come for a dopamine seeking debate and sometimes watering down concepts of the deen just to maintain kindness (which isn’t good). There are countless videos where people who deserved to be physically dealt with for their words were left alone for the sake of dawah. The prophet ﷺ and the companions رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ never humiliated themselves in dawah. They called to it whenever they could then left the people to choose. So if the rudeness you speak of is responses to idiots, then that isn’t lack of hikmah. That’s self respect.

JazākAllahu Khayran, very well needed. Hamza Tzortzis talks about this ḥikmah-framework alot, may Allah bless him. He defines ḥikmah as: (1) having a Allah-centric, Allah-pleasing, (2) understanding your particular context and (2) applyijg relevant ʿilm to that particular context to achieve that goal which is pleasing to Allah.
