السلام عليكم

Mashallah your writings are amazing akhi and I watched your response to Yasir Qadhi on this issue. You should really think of a video responding to what he said in his 3 hour video point by point since sadly many are unaware of the truth because of him. May Allah bless.

I think you haven’t clarified why qibla is not shirk incase of Muslims sufficiently ,we do ‘rever’ and ‘glorify’ them in a sense right ?

For the polytheists, idols serve as intermediaries, functioning as the focus of their worship because they are either unable or unwilling to direct their veneration solely towards God. This practice reflects their attempt to channel worship through these idols towards a higher deity. In contrast, the Ka'bah for Muslims does not serve a similar role. It's merely a direction we pray toward during Salah to unify Muslims during congregational prayers and other reasons. We don't have to face it when making discretionary dua for example. So, the two cases are completely disanalogous just as I quoted al-Khawarizmi as saying.

You seem to be confusing idol worship and polytheism. One can be a monotheist and worship an idol and one can be a polytheist without worshipping any idol.

If there were ever to be a country completely governed according to sharia, would there be freedom of religion for it's inhabitants? I mean real religious freedom, beyond "people of the book". Would Buddhists and Hindus and Bahais and Parsees and Jains be allowed to build places of worship therein?
